Legal compliance, risk management, and ethical principles have been standard practices since the founding of the first company in the Lu\u00eds Sim\u00f5es Group (of which Espa\u00e7otrans is a part) back in the 1940s. We act in accordance with the legislation, regulations, and standards applicable to our business activities, as well as internal policies adopted by the company. Compliance with these requirements has always been expected from the Management, Employees, and Third Parties associated with the organization.<\/p>\n

The mission of the Ethics and Compliance Department is to ensure the implementation and effectiveness of compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as with our internal policies and practices.<\/p>\n

Our goal is to uphold this Culture of Compliance and to ensure the proper functioning of the Internal Control Systems, while seeking to mitigate risks in line with the complexity of our business operations.<\/p>\n

\nEspa\u00e7otrans is firmly committed to promoting a culture of respect and cooperation among all its employees, within a dignified and equitable work environment. One of the company\u2019s core pillars is the prevention and elimination of workplace harassment.<\/p>\n

All employees are entitled to a workplace free from sexual harassment, moral harassment, and any form of retaliation.<\/p>\n

Any practice of harassment, in any form, harms workplace relationships and is contrary to the values that guide the company\u2019s actions. Such conduct is strictly prohibited, will not be tolerated, and is subject to disciplinary action and legal liability.<\/p>\n
